Tricteria

A match-3 game, set in the realm of the small. Made for a jam in a few days (bad game). Currently no satisfying death condition.

CONTROLS

LMB to shoot a bobble.
RMB to move.

Holding LMB will have different effects depending on how many pips you have. You gain pips by just playing. Bounces and matches will get you there more quickly.

• no pips : will swap current and next shot
• one pip : current shot will go in reserve, you will get a bobble from the nearest bacteria
• two pips : current shot will go in reserve, you get a jolly shot
• three pips : current shot will go in reserve, you get a bomb

BOUNCES

Hitting a floating bobble will send it flying, and it becomes an "active" bobble that will stick to bacteria. The color you hit will also become your reserve color.

BACTERIA

When the core flashes, new bobbles are about to spawn. Getting a match 3 on a flashing bacteria will reset its growth. If the bacteria is weakened and has few cells, even just shooting new bobbles at it will stop it from growing.

If left unattended for too long, the whole bacteria will begin pulsating, triggering Mitosis. It will then split in two, and it will start to grow again. Getting match 3s on the bacteria will slow down the Mitosis, especially if it has few bobbles left.
